MEET #TIALSBB @GOOFY_GINGER

Introducing our #TIALSBB of the week, Goofy Ginger!  This sensational woman epitomizes the importance of self love and is an inspiration to us all.  We got a chance to interview her about her goals, inspiration, and how she practices self love and care.

TIALS: What inspired you to share your life on social media and create the “safe space” community called the “Goof Troop”?

Goofy: I've always felt my purpose in life was to help people, and about five years ago I discovered this awesome platform called Instagram! I started my page in hopes of helping people feel heard, understood, and accepted. It grew into a thriving community of amazingly strong warriors, and I'm so excited to see people coming together to create a more positive society.

TIALS: How do you practice self love and self care?

Goofy: That's a big question. I practice both in so many small ways, I can't listen to them all, but a few of the most prominent include: not wearing bras, primarily dressing in clothes that make me feel comfortable and confident, and not holding myself to unrealistic expectations for body love and confidence. I can't love every part of myself 24/7, and that's okay. We're all human, and sometimes just self acceptance and self awareness is the best we can do.

TIALS: What/Who inspires your fashion style?

Goofy: I've always had a special affinity for 80's-90's styles. They're comfortable and over-sized while being super fun and cute to wear!

TIALS: If you could describe yourself in three words, what would they be?

Loving, empathetic, and (of course) goofy ;)

TIALS: What’s one thing that always makes you smile?

Goofy: My fantastic husband finds new ways to make me smile each day! Even after three years, my smile lights up just hearing his name.

TIALS: What is your biggest goal in life?

Goofy: My goal is to help as many living creatures as I can in as many ways as I can.

TIALS: If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why?
Goofy: I think I would be a fox because I can relate to their curious, clever, silly nature. Like foxes, I have a very loud voice and make weird sounds, plus I have the red hair!
